Pumpkin Bread

Yield: 2 loaves

Preheat Oven: 350°

Bake: 1 hour and 15 minutes

2 cups pumpkin

4 eggs

2/3 cup shortening

3 cups sugar

3 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp cloves

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp soda

2/3 cup water

Cream the first four ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture alternately with the water.

Pour into desired loaf pans.
