Fancy Raspberry Sauce
adapted from Ina Garten
Yield: About 2 cups
1 cup raspberries (I used about 1 1/4 cups)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup raspberry jam (seedless)
1 Tbsp Framboise (raspberry liqueur)
In a small saucepan, place the raspberries, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 4 minutes.
Pour the mixture into a blender or food processor. Add the jam the and Framboise. Blend until smooth. Place in a small jar and chill.
