What is Polybat?

Polybat is a bat and ball game, played on a table tennis table with the net removed and with side barriers added. The aim of the game is to hit the ball over the opponent’s end of the table, or cause them to play a fault by lifting the ball off the table surface.  Polybat is a suitable game for all ages and abilities, but is particularly aimed at players who have co-ordination or balance issues.. It was developed by Nottingham Trent University as part of Project Adapted.

The Polybat unit has been adapted from the Australian Sports Commision's Sports Ability Playing Cards.
