Dark Storm

Oil paints on canvas, glossy photo paper 12” x 9”(May 2019)

I used a style similar to April Gornik’s to create this painting. These clouds are the darkest in my collection. Layered on top of the clouds is a photo I took while on a trip to Paris visiting my sister. The photo against these intimidating storm clouds symbolizes my struggle to find comfort in this foreign city where my sister lives. .
