Natural Vs. Materialistic

For this piece I explored using wood, a canvas that I could alter in many different ways and parts of magazines that I could not change a lot. The purpose of this piece was to show a strong contrast between the wood and the magazine cut outs which featured designer brand names. I incorporated my theme of nature and repetition through having the cut outs be in the shape of leaves and the leaves being the same size and repeated in fours evenly.
