Blue

I used this piece as a way to explore my own identity. This piece began as a reference to my own chest hair, which I used to represent masculinity. I enhanced this typically masculine feature by making the lines more dense and frequent, but then offset this natural feature by tilting the print and using an unnatural blue color. While unnatural, the color is still bright and the unevenness in the application of ink gives the piece an individual character.
