2.0 Sharpie on t-shirt Men’s medium, August 2019

The name of this piece was taken directly from my clothing brand, Bruddah. However, a Bruddah t-shirt does not look like this. Many of my friends have suggested I draw on some t-shirts and add those to the collection, but I have always shied away from the idea. However, on a one-off shirt I decided that I would give it a try and this was the result. Featuring a t- shirt in my exhibition emphasizes the idea that my art is supposed to be a reflection of both me and my interests - not the viewer. It does not matter to me if someone thinks a t - shirt is worthy of being in an exhibition. I like it and that is all that counts.
