The main goal of this piece is for all of the very fine lines to draw the viewer’s eyes immediately to the center of the composition. At the center are much shorter, jagged triangular shapes that serve to contrast the straightness and length of the lines surrounding the center. Therefore, with this piece I have explored the impact straight lines can have on bringing the viewer’s eyes to a specific part of the composition.
