Warped Mirror Triptych

In these paintings, I made a new type of self-portrait of painting how I look in the reflection of a warped mirror. The paintings show me in a tortured state, which is reflected in the lack of color and the horrid faces that look like they’re being torn apart. The different backgrounds also add to the paintings; the long, sweeping, lines in the painting on the top left are wild and chaotic, while the lack of background in the top right painting makes the face stand out.
