Post-Coital Embrace

This piece explores the tension between childish fantasies of motherhood and the real, threatening possibility of accidental motherhood. I used a baby doll to embody both sides of motherhood. To increase the mood of fear and the threatening presence of the baby, I used a doll that was larger in size than the other doll and increased the contrast to bring out the shadows.
