Lil Ben in Dot World

This self-portrait is based on an old picture of myself zoning out (which I do frequently due to my ADHD) inside a room made by artist Yayoi Kusama where viewers were given circular colored stickers to put on the walls. My blank face matches the white background with a random dot pattern on it because they are both so blank. The purpose of this piece is to capture that blankness and convey to viewers what it’s like inside my mind when I am zoning out.
