For this piece I wanted to create a very simple, repetitive design that would be repeated through multiple wood panels. One of the main decisions I made was just having the borders of flowers to show the intricate patterns of each of the different types of wood. Similar to others this piece allowed me to demonstrate my appreciation for nature. This is seen through the repetition of the basic structure of the flower, but it’s variation in size and location on each of the different wood panels.
