Houses on a Street

I have explored the constrictive power of domesticity in this piece. The repetition of the houses creates a feeling of sameness, broken only by the dark figures within. I cut windows so that the interior is visible from all sides, so that the figures are prisoner within their homes, and the viewer is forced to peer in voyeuristically.
