My intent with this piece is to highlight the innocence of girlhood that is easily disrupted with age. The location is a place I wanted to highlight where I seek comfort and calmness especially during my adolescence. It represents the documentation of innocence in an attempt to make it last and my appreciation for youth. Her candidness embodies the delusion that comes with innocence.
