Broke Bitch Energy

This collage follows the same stream-of-consciousness theme that much of my other work does. The piece features the cut out letters that were used in my video work, ‘This Too Shall Pass’. I rearranged the letters to make the word ‘stop’, not featured in the video, and I also repurposed the fire cut-outs as part of the collage. This piece, for me , represents girls and their role in each other's lives. The piece features competitive and hateful sister dynamics and double standards in female friendships.
