The inspiration behind this project came from my love for Bob Marley, his music, and Jamaican culture as a whole. Similar to my other pieces, I wanted to depict subject matter that reflects me and my own personality. My ideas developed from seeing photos of Bob Marley playing football, and hearing stories about his love for the game. Considering my own passion for the sport, I believed that depicting him in this action would be a way for me to represent myself in a unique way.
