Self-portrait in the Sky

This painting explores color and my face. I depicted myself in happy, soft, colors, which is why I made the background a light blue that resembles a sunny sky and made the face yellow, green, red, and brown. I also took a minimalist route by not including as many wrinkles or lines on my face in order to make the painting less cluttered and simpler, so the attention of the audience can go straight to those colors.
