This pair of photos explores the pressure and expectations of childbearing. I chose black and white for the photos to allude to real wedding portraiture. I used a high contrast and intense shadows to provide a feeling of despair or foreboding. One of the photos features an empty contraceptive pill packet, appearing as an obstacle to be overcome by the figures.
