Untitled (New Years)

This piece was developed when I began to experiment with printing my portrait photographs onto film instead of photo paper. Due to the unique transparency of the film, I was able to include a drawing that I had made as a study for another piece under the portrait, so that the two different layers existed together. I am exploring how I look at myself through the lens of my friends, how who I surround myself with affects how I see myself.
