Marker Self-Portrait

I began this self-portrait by confidently drawing my face based on what I saw in the mirror, which can be seen in the sweeping line of my chin, and then went back over it afterward with a thinner to add details such as the shading, which I did with cross-hatching. I took the realist route when I made this, drawing everything I saw in the mirror with no abstraction.
