For this piece I explored fluidity through ink and how that would help express my theme of freedom in nature. The purpose of this piece is to demonstrate an appreciation of nature and how that can be emphasized through different art techniques such as repetition and varying brush strokes. These techniques are seen through the repeated black dots that are supposed to represent soil and the different large and small brush strokes to depict movement among the branches.
