Eastern Pkwy

Eastern Pkwy is a rendition of a photo I took outside of the Brooklyn Museum. The photo was of a hot dog stand, which glowed a soft emerald green in front of a softly setting sun. The whole scene was very serene, which drew me to try to capture the atmosphere on paper. The big challenge in this piece was achieving the glow. With the colored markers I had, I wanted to create a glowing effect that would be emitted by the lights of the stand and the setting sun. Overall, I think I did a good job capturing the glow.
