This collage provides the tone for the installation as a whole. I chose to include keepsakes from my childhood, old photobooth strips, letters from family members, invites to birthday parties etc, on one of the walls to make the space feel cozy and lived in. I also used this to enter into the work myself, for example I included subway tickets and national rail tickets to showcase the two sides of my identity and the constant traveling between those. I also included the mirrors so that, even though all of the decorations are mine and represent me, the viewer can also enter into the space.
