In this piece I focused on the meditative aspect of repeating a symbol in different sizes and through different mediums in my artwork. The purpose of this is to show the relaxation I found through this practice and also exhibit how my themes developed over time. I used acrylic as my medium for the large stars and white charcoal pencil for the smaller stars to create a subtle contrast between the opacity of the stars and the arrangement of them.
