This piece began as an exploration into how I could print with linoleum. I discovered that I could cut a single piece of linoleum into multiple pieces (the above piece is a combination of four) and create a piece that is unique each time the blocks of linoleum are rearranged. The motif of nature lends well to this form, as the tree prints create a flowing atmosphere. This is juxtaposed with the vibrant and unnatural red color.
