All in One

This piece is an exploration of the value of fertility and commitment. I chose embroidery because it is associated with femininity. I used a fine thread to mirror the delicacy of fertility. I chose golden thread for the eggs, a color which implies value, to emphasize the value of fertility and the importance of motherhood. I added text reading “All in One”, to play off the colloquialism “all of your eggs in one basket”, which refers to an important risk or commitment.
