The first piece in which I incorporated text, I hoped to visually represent a “stream of consciousness,” and specifically my internal experience and thoughts. I wrote down phrases/thoughts that came to mind and paired them with images I drew based off cartoon-esque drawings I found online. I wanted to express the characteristic chaos of human thought.
