I wanted to experiment with how repetition affects the impact of a word or element. The purpose of this piece is to keep the figure simple, but highlight certain parts of the body so the subject doesn’t get lost. I wanted to create a contrast between the grid-like composition of the hair, and the random placement of the letters.
