15 Lhonak

A 22-day Teahouse Trek from Sukhetar to Kanchenjunga S-BC and then via SeleLa pass to Kanchenjunga N-BC and back to Taplejung in Eastern Nepal.

Trek Day - 15 Trek Kangbachen to Lhonak

On 29th Oct 2015 - It was cloudy and a gloomy day as we left Kangbachen at 7:30AM. So hardly got any pictures of Snow Peaks that are usually visible from this route.

The trail climbed gradually across desolate landscapes of hill sides and scree slopes and bolders.

We reached Lonak teahouses at 1:30PM. They were very Basic and with minimum facilities. The trek today was disappointing with no views and cloudy misty weather. The weather was bad for rest of the day too at Lhonak. rather disappointing that we got no snow peak views today.
