We had been to Kalapathar in the morning and had got very clear view of Everest range. On return to Hotel we had our breakfast too and now at 9:45AM we were ready to start our return trek to Pheriche via Lobuche.
We start the return trip from Gorakshep at 9-45AM ... So a last look back at Buddha Lodge ... you can also see the trail behind the lodges snaking up towards the top of Kalapathar.
Nupste & Nupste Icefall ... a last look as we head back to Lobuche

Another view looking back .... while crossing the side glacier.
We reached Lobuche in 2 hrs at 11:45 AM and stopped there for Lunch. We left Lobuche at 12:30 and after a short tea-break at Dughla at 2:00PM we finally arrived in Pheriche at 4:00PM.
Lobuche appears ahead .. the Teahouses in pic center ... at 11:45AM
At 2:00PM - Dughla we stop for tea. We initially thought of staying here tonight but no room! ... so continued on to Pheriche
After an hour we descended into the valley heading to Pheriche. It was very cloudy & windy here.
We reach the Memorial area (above Dughla) at 1:30PM .... and found a big group of over 30 student trekkers.... from Europe
Arriving in Pheriche at 4:00PM .... we check into Pumori Lodge
Today was one of the longest trekking days ... 3.5 Hrs to Kalapathar and then another 5.5 Hrs Gorakshep to Pheriche; a total of 9 Hrs walk.
