The Annapurna Circuit is a 200+ Kms trek. Rated as the most "Classic" trek ever as it follows the ancient trade routes and traverses diverse climate zones, vegetation, religions, cultures etc. The trail circles the Annapurna Massif range (of Himalayas) in central Nepal. You get to see several snow covered peaks including Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m).

The trek starts at the trail-Head town of Besisahar (alt:760m)..... ascends to a maximum altitude at Thorang-La Pass (5416m/17764ft) and then descends to the village of Beni (530m).

The added attraction on this trek is Muktinath, the well known pilgrimage town for Buddhists and Hindu temples in one big temple complex, just below Thorang-La.
