Ajmer - A visit to the Dargah of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chisthi
21-November-2012: I left Nawalgarh around Noon and drove South on SH8 to Sikar and then towards Jaipur and bypass to join NH8 and drove on to Kishanarg and Ajmer. Reached Ajmer around 5:30PM, found a Hotel Samrat, in main bazaar area, near the railway station and took a room there for Rs 600/- for night stay. Evening walked down to bazaar and tasted some Onion & Dal Kachories - Rajasthani delicacies, before a Thali dinner in hotel room.
22-November-2012: Got up early and after tea and bath left hotel at 7:15AM in a cycle rick to visit the famous Ajmer Dargah - the tomb of Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti. There was a crowd of people at the Dargah; but not as bad as I thought and I could reach the inner court and join the queue and was inside the Saint's tomb in about 10-15 minutes. After a quick darshan walked up the crowded lane for a glimpse of the Adhai-din-ka-jhopda and headed back to the hotel.

From the Dargah walked back to the hotel via the Ajmer Railway Station and checked out of the Hotel by 9:30AM and drove off to Pushkar taking a circuitous route around the Ana Sagar lake to see some parts of Ajmer town. Reached Pushkar by 10:20AM
