Volume is the amount of space something takes up.
For liquids Volume is usually measured in Litres (l)
or millilitres (ml)
1 litre = 1000 millilitres
All objects / materials have mass (weight) and take up space (have Volume)
Real objects are in 3 dimensions and so the units of Volume are known to be cubed as in m3 and cm3
1ml = 1cm3.
1l = 1000 ml = 1000 cm3
