Current electricity is the study of charged particles and their motion from one place to another.
ELECTRIC CURRENT
Electricity is much like water flowing from the mountains to the sea.
Rivers can be described in two ways,
- by the speed of the water
- by the volume of water in a cross section
Electricity has similarities to this, the amount of attraction one place will have for electrons, this is the potential difference (V). The amount of electrons flowing is similar to the volume of water.
voltage = the steepness of the river
current = the amount of water flowing
circuit need to be complete = water cycle
