Draw the outline of your hand on the sheet.

Mark that 1 box = 1 cm² ..... ie ■ = 1cm².

Count all the FULL boxes within the outline of your hand.

Mark all the boxes within the outline that are more than HALF boxes within the outline.

Count these too.

Add the Number of Full boxes + the number of more than Half boxes

This total is the APPROXIMATE AREA of your hand in cm²
