Newton once wrote

"if I have seen farther than others,

it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants"

While his sentiment in this letter to the incredible Mr. Robert Hooke was hostile, I think this is the one thing I most admire in Newton for writing. It sums up education really, that no one person could possibly be equpped to discover everything they know, we all get some education. Fledglings in a nest get the flying 101 before they 1st get thrown.
