Edulcore Cicciotto:
I find M'xy and Marv Velo in one of the subbasements of the Malvan-X building, working closely on some strange device.
"Hi, Euro," says the green-clad man. "I was sure you said something about honesty, sometime ago."
"'To be outside the law, you must be honest,'" I say, quoting Bob Dylan.
"Yeah. But this is basically a robbery," he responds.
"Well, they kidnapped Danny, so we are taking a little in exchange for the trouble they gave us."
"Little? These devices costs billions!"
"The life of our friend has no price," I say, smiling.
"How's Danny?" asks M'xy.
"Fine, it seems. Quantos claims he can cure him from a sort of pollution-induced illness, and also to stop him being a potential harm to the time stream."
"How?" asks Velo.
"Who knows? He talked about some sort of luck drugs in a man's blood. Really, I didn't understand a word," I say.
"Drugs? Chemistry? Bah! Nothing that mechanics couldn't solve," mutters Velo.
"This is everything?" asks M'xy.
Velo looks around. "Yes, it seems to be."
"Okay," I say. "Bring all to the circus. We will find a better use for this than Malvan-X, I'm sure."
"Should we come back?" asks Velo.
"No, here it's all under control. Have a rest or, if you can't sleep, start working on the project. 'Bye."
M'xy opens a huge portal, and he, Velo and the many things disappear into it. I wonder how Danny's operation is going on.
