Smasher, whose real name is Patrick Walker, is a magically powered hero (super-strength, energy blasts, force field, flight, and other unknown powers) and a member of the Meta Board League.
Patrick Walker was a New York City police officer who was a long-time friend of Gooz. Walker found a small piece of mystical stone with an unknown origin that granted him metapowers. After the apparent death of Gooz, he joined the MBL to take his place on the team and exact revenge on those who killed Gooz.
In a huge battle, he lost his powers to save the day, and he quit the MBL. He later returned, although still powerless, to help the team and train the new recruits.
