Knight De Facto, Generator, Caped Cadet and Albino Chameleon stand in the middle of the room. At their feet are Ace Martian and Hooligan, still unconscious.
In the next room, Exile, Rhyme Guardian, Invisible Man, Sente, Trout and Spark fight with strange and horrible monsters. "These monsters aren't real, guys!" shouts Rhyme Guardian. "Don't be overwhelmed by them!"
"Sorry, boss!" says Exile. "I see them, and can also feel their thoughts. If I stop fighting, they'll kill me!"
"It's what they want you to think! Stop fighting everyone!" orders the rhyme god.
"Why do YOU keep fighting?" Sente points out.
Rhyme Guardian stop to look at the orange energy glowing around his fists. "Oh, well... they seemed so real, after all."
The battle rages, but the powers of the heroes seems inadequate for the threat. The Trout is literally a fish out of water. Sente's death-vision merely passes through the virtual bodies of the monsters, as does the orange Rhyme Force of Rhyme Guardian. The telekinesis of Exile is useless, unable to act over the electronic images of the monster.
"Gentlemen, I was hired to fight men, not oversized phantasms! I must point out to you that this means my contract has been invalidated, so I will salute you for now and return to my beloved England! Ta!" says the voice of the Invisible Man, fading in the distance. A minute later, the noise of a helicopter leaving the camp is heard by everyone.
"That rat!" shouts Rhyme Guardian, fighting with one of the monster.
"Don't fear!" says Sparks, smiling. "See! If I lower the temperature of the air molecules occupied by the images of the monsters to absolute zero, they freeze! I can stop them!"
The alien predator in front of Sparks becomes a motionless statue. But before he can stop the other monsters, one of them, a big winged dragon, open his mouth and sends a big flame toward the hero, who falls to the ground. Instantly, all the monsters begin flaming, transforming into a big wall of fire that encircles the heroes.
The end seems near for them, when a big waterfall comes down from the upper ceiling of the room. The fire wall evaporates, dissolving away. In the next room, the three Seven Senses members, unable to sustain the stress of maintaining the creatures, fall to the ground, unconscious.
"How? What happened?" shouts Rhyme Guardian.
"Awesome! Just in time, Rhyme Guardian!" exclaims a blue-dressed young hero, next to a boy and a girl with their dog.
"Disco Stave! You created that waterfall?"
"Yes. These two fellas found me inside the snow, not really far from here, and told me your story. Your true story, Rhymer. I think we should stop fighting and look for the spaceship."
"Wait a moment," says Rhyme Guardian, looking at the Venetian teenagers. "Who are they?"
"They are two stowaways. They were in the palace in Venice when you left for the Antarctic. Luckily they were there, or you might be dead by now. My friends in the Seven Senses are not fully able to control their powers at full extent. The monsters they created to fight you was above the level of mastering they've reached for now," explains Disco Stave.
"Well, Disco, I think you have earned a place in our team. What of the other Seven?" asks Rhyme Guardian.
"They will be out of commission for hours. They will be safe here, while we do our detective work in the ship," says Disco.
"Okay," says Rhyme Guardian. "Now..."
"Now wait a moment, boss," says the Trout. "What did he mean by 'your true story'? Is there something about this mission we don't know?"
"Well, not really. The true scope is not to rescue the ship for our sponsor, but to protect the Russian-American research team from it. Because the ship is sending a signal to outer space... and an alien invasion could be just around the corner."
