French 5

Apply your previous knowledge of vocabulary and grammar to new contexts.  Use your French to complete bavardages, journal entries, a movie critique, skits and other activities focusing on communication.  Prioritize increased fluency in past, present and future/conditional tenses. Learn using themed units such as housing and chores, your future after Chi-Hi, the French revolution, environmental challenges, and Impressionism.  Prepare for success in taking university placement exams and/or the AP exam.  The course is conducted in French and students are expected to communicate in French every day. Set yourself apart with your global awareness and cultural competence!
