Advanced CAD builds and expands upon the concepts and commands learned in the Introduction to CAD/FAB Lab course. Students will expand their 3D solid modeling and 2D working drawing skills, which are used in industry to manufacture products. In addition, students will create prototypes of their projects utilizing a variety of digital technologies (laser engravers, 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and CNC equipment, etc.) found in the newly constructed STEAM/FAB Lab. Upon completion of this course, students will have the opportunity to obtain certification recognized by business and industry.
