Part one of a transcripted credit opportunity after successful completion of Advanced Marketing.


This is a foundational marketing course to build base knowledge for success in future marketing courses. Principles of Marketing focuses on the introductory concepts of marketing including: the functions of marketing, consumer behavior, as well as advertising and selling. Students will enjoy this project based class that connects their learning to real-world situations. You will have the opportunity to participate in DECA, an organization of marketing students, and/or FBLA.


Proficiency in this course is needed for enrollment in Retail Merchandising and Advanced Marketing.
