This course is designed to investigate environmental issues, their causes and possible solutions. Major units include: 1) Sustainability, Environmental History, & Public Lands, 2) Threats to our Atmosphere (Climate Change and Air Pollution), 3) Non-renewable & Renewable Energy Resources, and 4) Biodiversity.  Students will do field work in local Wisconsin natural areas.  Environmental Science is intended for students who wish to know more about their environment and environmental issues, so they can make a difference.
