Perspectives in Poetry

Students will read, study, and write poetry in a variety of traditional and non-traditional forms. Students will dig into the craft of wordplay to accurately and creatively express life stories, opinions, and observations. No previous poetic experience is necessary for this class, just an open mind and a desire to explore and relate the complexity of the human experience through poetry.
