10th Grade Orchestra

Continue skills on violin, viola, cello, and string bass by performing 3 string orchestra literature.  Focus will be on playing in small ensembles and 2 octave scales.  Learn intermediate musicianship, ensemble playing, theory and history through small group lessons and ensemble rehearsals.  Perform a required concert each quarter, as well as the Holiday Concert and Pops in the Park.  All students prepare for Golden Ticket Night, and are encouraged to perform at Solo/Ensemble Festival.  Students will furnish their own instrument, supplies, and lesson book.
