This course is a quarter elective designed for all 9-12 grade students to explore the manufacturing, construction, engineering, and transportation career pathways with a focus on sheet metal design and fabrication. They will develop fundamental skills and knowledge through a variety of classroom and lab activities that incorporate: industry safety, print reading, CAD software, measurement, and project planning. Students will work with a variety of sheet metal equipment and tools to fabricate and assemble projects. CNC Plasma design and introduction to foundry operations introduced.
