Algebra 2 is a continuation of Algebra 1. In addition to reviewing and extending concepts from Algebra 1, this course includes the additional topics of sequences, conic sections, linear programming, exponentials, and logarithms. Algebra 2 covers the same topics as Accelerated Algebra 2, but with more emphasis on applications, and less emphasis on theoretical considerations. A TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator is recommended.
