Advanced Standing agreements allow students to request credit for certain courses that have an articulation agreement established. High School courses must have an 80% competency match and students must receive a "B" or better in order to receive credit.

Students receive high school credit immediately, but only receive college credit upon admission
Students must work with their advisor to claim credit
Credits do not transfer out of WTCS System
Student supplied safety glasses are required.
This course expands on the fundamental skills of the machine shop by broadening your knowledge base with manual milling machine operations, basic set-ups, layouts, making precise measurements, drilling and milling processes using a variety of milling cutters. This course can be taken alone or in addition to Machine Tool Technology - Lathe.
