Prerequisite: Proficient in Algebra 1 and Accelerated Geometry with recommended minimum grade of a B in both courses.

Accelerated Algebra 2 is a continuation of Algebra 1. In addition to reviewing and extending concepts from Algebra 1, this course includes the additional topics of sequences, conic sections, linear programming, exponentials, and logarithms. Strong Algebra 1 skills are necessary to be successful in Accelerated Algebra 2. A TI-83 or IT-84 graphing calculator is recommended.
