Financial Literacy Graduation Requirements - .5 Credits
Financial Literacy
Intro to Personal Financial Literacy is required for all freshman students, starting with the class of 2029.
Personal Finance is required for all in their junior or senior year
(class of 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028).
Accounting
Recommended Sequencing:
Accounting 1 -> Accounting 2 -> Accounting 3
(Each level of accounting is a prerequisite for the next level course.)

Business & Personal Law - Criminal/Civil Law

Recommended Sequencing:
Intro to Business & Marketing -> Principles of Management ->

(Either Intro to Business & Marketing OR Principles of Marketing can be taken as a prerequisite to Young Entrepreneurs.)
Marketing
Recommended Sequencing:
Principles of Marketing -> Social Media Marketing OR Sports & Entertainment Marketing -> Advanced Marketing OR Retail Management
(Principles of Marketing is a prerequisite for students wanting to take Retail Management and/or Advanced Marketing.)
Publishing
Recommended Sequencing:
Publications -> Chi-Hi Happenings -> CFHS Media Productions
(Principles of Marketing, Publications OR Graphics are recommended for students wanting to take CFHS Media Productions. Only one of these courses is recommended to be taken prior to CFHS Media Productions.)
